The Ochno O-EC extension system carries high-speed USB data and DisplayPort video over distances of 10 or 20 metres. Designed for professional O-PC-4 installations, it supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbps and DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode with video up to 4K60.

The system combines a long active optical cable with a separate 20 cm copper cable containing the active electronics. During installation, the optical cable can be pulled through a 25 mm conduit without the copper cable and electronics attached. The 20 cm copper section is connected after the optical cable has been routed, simplifying installation and protecting the electronics during cable pulling.

With a minimum bend radius of 50 mm and a maximum pulling load of 16 kg, the cable is designed for controlled routing through conduits in professional meeting-room and AV installations.
