Lead Hardware Design Engineer

Ochno AB is growing, and we are looking for you, the person to lead the hardware engineering part of our platform. You have a genuine interest in technology and innovation and is good at hardware development. You enjoy working in a team as well as taking your own initiative independently.

In this key position you will have the responsibility for the entire hardware process from specifying hardware requirements and collaborate with international suppliers to developing and defining the architecture for the embedded software. As the team expands you will be able to lead your own team of talented engineers, pushing the limits for the ways we use technology in the future.

You will work close both with both embedded software team and and team developing our cloud service Ochno Operated which provides all cloud services running Ochno.

Ochno’s hardware solutions are all advanced high-speed data and signal management and switching of video and USB communication.

QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your primary responsibility is to establish an end-to-end quality assurance process covering both the hardware and software aspects of Ochno’s product and service portfolio. Your focus will be on developing automation frameworks and processes to enable continuous product development while maintaining high quality standards. Testing predominantly involves software, including cloud-based and embedded systems. Additionally, you’ll be tasked with designing and supporting production test platforms at hardware manufacturing sites.

Embedded Software Developer

Ochno AB is growing, and we are looking for individuals with a strong interest in programming and experience in embedded software development. You will join our mission to pioneer the future of meeting room collaborations. We are seeking a tech-savvy, forward-thinking, passionate team player who is not afraid to explore the unknown and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is committed to achieving success as part of a team!

We are organized into cross-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are integral parts of our daily work. All embedded software development is conducted in-house, so your most relevant experience should come from this field. However, an interest in and experience with hardware design in general will provide you with an advantage, as it will enhance your understanding of the rapid progress that software and hardware make together.

Our embedded software stack is based on FreeRTOS and runs on MCUs from Microchip and Infineon, although we are also exploring additional hardware platforms. All embedded systems are IoT devices and are connected to Ochno Operated, the global management service provided by Ochno for our customers.

In addition to the regular embedded protocols, we also work with protocols such as USB Power Delivery, EDID/DDC, and CEC. We maintain close collaborations with leading manufacturers of key integrated circuits to ensure that we can always work with the latest available technology.

This position is based out of our office in Västerås, Sweden, where you will have access to our international team as well as close contact with your manager.
